How to Deactivate Facebook On Android, iPhone and Desktop

People all over the world use Facebook to stay in touch with friends and family and to argue with strangers about moderately funny cat videos. Some people think that social media app is an important part of life, but others are worried about the data scandals and privacy issues. For people who want to Deactivate Facebook for good or just for a while is very important to know how to do it. This article is about how to Deactivate Facebook.

No matter why you want to Deactivate Facebook account, whether it’s to protect your privacy or for some other reason. You can easily reactivate your account whenever you want to get your information back. You can download the FB Messenger App instead of making a regular Facebook account. Instead of logging in with your Facebook profile, choose “Create a New Account.”

This will not create a profile but will let you use the app. Most people, though, already have a Facebook account. You might be thinking about taking a break from Facebook because of recent events or the general state of social media. Not everyone can do that; if you can’t, make your account settings stricter. But if you finally have enough of Facebook and can’t take it anymore, you can leave.

Reasons to Deactivate FB

Facebook is Judge-Y

We are not saying that Facebook is judgmental, but the people who use it are. Having a death in the family, going to the hospital (and then taking pictures and telling the world what room you’re in), or even breaking up with someone is hard enough on its own. Yes, it’s true: a lot of my Facebook friends have been taking pictures of themselves in the hospital and sharing them, as well as letting everyone know what room they’re in.

Facebook consumes the majority of your working time

A lot of Facebook users who read their news feeds every day don’t realise how much time they spend looking at other people’s lives or talking on Facebook Messenger. Since it has become so addicting, many people feel like they have to like or comment on everything shared.

But think about how much time you spend on Facebook in your spare time. You might not know that you can take care of yourself, learn something new, or do your daily chores in the same amount of time.

Your communication skills get damaged

When was the last time you saw your friends, family, or coworkers in person? Even though social media is supposed to make it easier to talk to people, we often forget how to talk to people in person and find it hard to do so on Facebook. Facebook has a bad effect on our relationships at home, at work, and in our social networks.

The fact that people use Facebook too much shows that having less face-to-face interactions is normal in many ways. People are now starting to think that social media is the only way to talk to their peers in an effective way.

Is Facebook worth deactivating?

In the end, there are a lot of good reasons why giving up social media might be good for your life. By deactivating or deleting your social media accounts, you can be more productive, have better mental health, be more focused, be more creative, and even save money.

When should you deactivate Facebook?

People who aren’t sure if they want to leave Facebook for good can deactivate their account. Deactivating your account is a good choice if you just want to take a break from social media, but it’s not the only one.
